Miało to miejsce podczas Over the Edge PPV. Zmarł w drodze do szpitala.
Przed Over the Limit PPV odbył się dark match, w którym Daniel Bryan po submissionie pokonał Drew McIntyre.
Podczas gali mogliśmy zobaczyć video promujące galę Capitol Punishment, z „gościnnym” udziałem prezydenta USA – Baracka Obamy. Oto plakat nadchodzącej w czerwcu gali
Dave Meltzer zapowiedział, że WWE dokańcza prace na video poświęconym zmarłemu 20 maja Macho Manowi. Video ma zostać wyemitowane podczas dzisiejszego RAW w Portland. Kilku zawodników WWE oddało hołd tragicznie zmarłemu Macho Manowi. Wade Barrett w trakcie walki z Ezekielem Jacksonem wykonał flying elbow z drugiej liny. Natomiast CM Punk miał na taśmie obwiązanej wokół ręki napisane „Macho Man”, a także podczas walki tagteamowej wykonał w stylu Macho Mana – diving elbow drop. Randy Savage został także uhonorowany podczas meczu New York Yankees vs New York Mets. Natomiast Village People zagrali utwór „Macho Man”. Z kolei TNA uhonorowało Savage’a dziesięcioma uderzeniami gongu podczas live eventu. Randy zostanie skremowany, a jego prochy zostaną rozrzucone wokół drzewa, gdzie kilka lat wcześniej rozrzucił on prochy swojego psa – Herculesa.
Tribute to Macho Man zamieszczony na YT:
Poniżej zamieszczam wpisy różnych osób, dotyczące śmierci Macho Mana:
Jim Ross – I was never close to Randy Savage but I had immense respect for his in ring work. Savage was a gifted high flier, had uncanny crowd psychology and a tough, athletic persona that could not be duplicated.
‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage was a legit star in the world of pro wrestling and one of the most famous wrestlers of any era. Randy Savage is arguably one of the top 2-3 wrestlers that helped establish the WWE as the dominate promotion of its kind in the world. Savage deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence as Andre, Hulk, Piper, etc.
Jay Lethal – You inspired me more than this world will ever know. Enjoy. You were a tower of power that was too sweet to be sour, You were funky like a monkey every minute of every hour. For you, space was the place and time distortion had to be, And your fans here on earth wanted the madness for eternity. You met every challenge with fists clinched and face to face, You even fought and defeats dragons and snakes. Flying off the ropes with an elbow drop, There was no way you could ever be stopped. Identifiable by your voice alone, Even being Dubbed the macho king while you sat on your throne. We hung on your words with interviews memorable and classic, And we knew it was serious when you took off your glasses. I promise not to lose you in the sands of time, For you will always be that all time hero of mine.
Dusty Rhodes – There’s probably five or six of us, with Andre (the Giant) and (Hulk) Hogan and thankfully myself and (Ric) Flair, that, when their names pop up, even if you’re not a fan, you know who in the hell these people are.You say, ‘I know this guy. I know Macho Man Randy Savage.’ He was part of that breed. We lost a good one… He was a recluse, almost. Whatever he was doing, he wanted that privacy. Yeah, he was out of the picture for 10 years, but he didn’t want to be in the picture.
Hulk Hogan – After ten years of not talking to Randy, we’ve finally started to talk and communicate. He had so much life in his eyes and his spirit. I just pray that he’s happy in and in a better place and we miss him. We miss him a lot. I feel horrible about the ten years that he wouldn’t respond, or he had no communication. This was a tough one.
Ric Flair – It sure did (hit hard). It’s pretty sad. He just recently got married, it’s been a little over a year, and was happy and, you know, really seemed to be at peace with himself. He just had a phenomenal career and to have this happen is just really, really sad. Gail Kim i Evan Bourne:
Podczas piątkowej gali SmackDown! otrzymaliśmy 44 minut i 1 sekundę walki w ringu.

No i kończąc newsa – coś dla oczu – Maryse i Rosa Mendes
